The Victorian Auditor-General’s Office (VAGO) will host the International Meeting of Performance Audit Critical Thinkers 2026 in Melbourne, bringing together the global performance auditing community for two days of insight, collaboration, and exchange. 

The theme for IMPACT 2026 is Reimagining performance audit. Attendees will explore new perspectives, methods and opportunities shaping the future of performance audit.

IMPACT attracts Auditors-General, public sector auditors, practitioners, industry experts, and academics from around the world to tackle emerging issues, share best practice, and explore exciting opportunities for performance auditing.
